Pearlescent liquid pigment can be described as easy to apply and achieving a low degree of finish. It can be applied directly to a surface with a brush, sponge, or sprayer. Liquid pigments are highly concentrated, so very little of the product needs to be used in order to achieve a strong pearlescent effect. This type of pigment is preferred in artworks where speed and uniformity of application is important, like murals and large decorative pieces. Certain liquid pearlescent pigments are also soluble in water, thus allowing easier clean up and use on a wider variety of surfaces.
